2026-2027 Is Going to be an exciting year!

Here is our Roadmap for SUMMIT STUDENT MINISTRY.

Uth GROUP

Uth GROUP is our weekly Student Ministry Bible Study Wednesdays from 6-8pm.  We start with a meal then move to Bible Study and discussion.  We end the night with games.

This year, we will be going through the study:

"Essentials of Faith: What Is the Church?”

Everyone seems to have something to say about the church. But what is the church, exactly? Is it a nice building with a steeple? An experience on a Sunday morning? A group of people aligned around certain issues?

In this series, we will examine Acts and Paul’s letters to explain what the church is, how it began, what it does, and its mission. This series will inspire you to learn from the rich history of the church and will motivate you to act as an empowered member of the family of God.

Life GROUPS

Life GROUPS are our discipleship groups that meet Sundays @ 5pm.  We begin with a meal then dive into the study.  Students will have workbooks that they will use for Bible Study during the week.  On Sundays, we will break into Life GROUPS to discuss what they learned through their Bible Studies and how to apply what they have learned in their lives.

We will begin our Student Life Groups discipleship with the study, “Growing Toward Spiritual Maturity.”

This study is designed to help students move beyond simply knowing about Jesus to becoming more like Him in everyday life.

Together we'll explore what it means to develop a growing relationship with Christ through Scripture, prayer, authentic community, serving others, and living out our faith. Rather than focusing on having all the answers, this series encourages students to take practical next steps toward becoming mature followers of Jesus. It emphasizes that spiritual growth is a lifelong process as we learn to think, love, and live more like Christ.

Whether you're new to following Jesus or you've been walking with Him for years, this study will challenge you to deepen your faith, build meaningful friendships, and discover how God wants to use your life.

Join us as we grow together—one step closer to Jesus each week.

SYATP (See You At The Pole)

Every year on the fourth Wednesday of September, students across the nation — and around the world — gather at the flagpole of their school before the first bell rings to do something countercultural and powerful: they pray.

See You At The Pole (SYATP) is a global, student-led prayer movement that began in 1990 when a small group of teenagers in Texas felt compelled to pray for their school, their friends, and their nation. What started as a quiet act of faith in one parking lot has grown into one of the largest gatherings of praying students on earth, with millions of young people standing at their school flagpoles in unity each fall.

This isn't an adult-organized event — and that's exactly the point. Students plan it, students lead it, students show up for it. SYATP is built on the belief that God hears the prayers of young people and that student-led intercession can change the atmosphere of a school, a community, and a generation. There are no speakers, no stages, no programs — just students bringing their hearts to God in raw, honest prayer.

At Summit, we love See You At The Pole because it puts our students on the front lines of their own mission field. Your school isn't just where you learn — it's where God has placed you to be a witness. SYATP is one of the most visible ways you can live that out.

This year's date: Wednesday, September 23, 2026 at 7am. Show up early, stand at the CHS flagpole, and pray. Bring a friend. Bring your whole lunch table. You don't need a script — just a willing heart.

Resources, promotional materials, and a planning guide are available at syatp.com.
